'STUMPING' FOR COMMUNITY ART
Davey's Northwest Chicago
Residential/ Commercial (R/C) office
donated 23 stumps to Elgin Math
and Science Academy (EMSA)
for their "Stand Up Stumps"
community installation.
Jeff Garceau, assistant district
manager, worked with EMSA to
deliver the stumps.
The recycled stumps were
repurposed as seating and students
in grades K-5 transformed them
into works of art. The stumps display
themes of social justice and
environmental advocacy.
