Andrew Hillman retired
April 3, 2021, following 10 years of
service. He was a senior associate
consultant, Davey Resource Group,
Environmental Consulting.
Thomas Prudden retired April 2,
2021, following 41 years of service.
Prudden started his career with
The Care of Trees (TCOT) in 1980
and joined Davey during the TCOT
acquisition in 2008. In 1988, he was
promoted to a production foreman.
In 1995, Prudden was promoted
to equipment sales. The following
year, he transitioned to sales. In
1998, he was promoted to sales
arborist and retired as a sales
arborist in the Crystal Lake office.
He is an ISA Certified Arborist
®
.
Gordon Richardson retired
April 15, 2021, following 23 years
of service. He was a PHC technician
in the Crystal Lake office.
Jeffrey Scheller retired March 21,
2021, following 45 years of service.
Scheller started his career with
Davey in 1975 as a trimmer in the
South Pittsburgh R/C office. He
was promoted to foreman in
1980. In 1996, he was promoted
to master foreman. In 2007, he
transitioned to the FirstEnergy
account as a trimmer and was
promoted to foreman the same
year. He worked as a foreman
on the FirstEnergy, National Grid
New York, Central Electric Co. and
PSEG accounts. In 2010, he was

promoted to foreman for
the Duquesne Light account.
He also worked as a work planner
on the FirstEnergy and Penn
Power-T&M accounts. In 2018,
he became a foreman on the
Duquesne Light account and
retired from this role. Scheller
was a 1976 graduate of D.I.T.S.
Samuel Tinajero retired April 15,
2021, following 12 years of service.
He was a senior technician for the
SDG&E Pole Test and Treat account.
Donald Wright retired April 30,
2021, following 30 years of service.
Wright began his career at Davey in
1990 as a landscape foreman, CLS,
Washington, D.C., territory before
transitioning to the Montgomery
County territory in 2001. In 2010,
Wright was promoted to supervisor
of the Montgomery County
territory. He was promoted to
production manager for the
Montgomery County/Alexandria/
D.C. territories in 2014 and retired
from this role. Wright attended
D.I.H.S. in 1993 and D.I.G.M. in 2007.
