Robert Kraker
Nashville territory
Robert Kraker has been promoted
to branch manager, CLS, Nashville
territory. Kraker started with Davey
in 2008 as a climber in the West
Chicago R/C office. In 2008, he was
also promoted to foreman and then in
2015 was promoted to sales arborist.
Kraker is a 2014 D.I.T.S. graduate,
ISA Certified Arborist and was the
Tennessee Urban Forestry Council's
2012 State Champion Tree Climber.
Shawna Melton has been promoted
to manager of accounts payable.
Melton started with Davey in 2008 in
Utility billing. She transferred to accounts
payable and was promoted assistant
supervisor and then supervisor of
accounts payable. In her new role,
she will oversee various projects and
initiatives, system enhancements
and process improvements.
Chris Plante
Portland office
Chris Plante has been promoted
to district manager, Portland office.
Plante started with Davey as a
climbing arborist trainee in 2015. He
was promoted to foreman in 2019.
Janey Siladi has been promoted to
assistant treasurer, corporate office.
Siladi most recently was treasury
director, Tradesmen International.
Steven Speight has been promoted
to project manager, DRG, utility
vegetation management, Central
Southwest region.
Chris Sykora has been promoted
to team lead, utility billing,
corporate office.
John Tokarczyk has been promoted
to regional vice president, Eastern
Utility services, Lakes region. Tokarczyk
will oversee all operational aspects
of Eastern Utility's Lakes Division.
Tokarczyk joined Davey in 2006 as a
trimmer on the DTE Energy account.
He was promoted to general foreman
in 2010, production manager in 2012,
area manager in 2013 and operations
manager, DTE Energy and NIPSCO
accounts, in 2017. He is a TCIA CTSP and
past member of the Davey President's
Council. He is also a member of the
International Society of Arboriculture.
Mike Walsh has been promoted
to account manager, Utility services,
Orange County, Fla., region. Walsh
started with Davey in 2014 as a foreman
on the OUC Production account. In
2016, he was promoted to general
foreman for accounts in Orange County,
Fla., and then in 2018 was promoted to
senior supervisor for the same region.
