24 ATTEND D.I.G.M.
Twenty-four employees in Commercial Landscape Services
(CLS) attended the Davey Institute of Grounds Management
(D.I.G.M.) in March.
During the week-long program, attendees learned from
several instructors at the Davey Institute on a wide range
of issues, including ornamental tree and shrub planting,
turf identification and culture, water management,
and safe equipment operation and job site setup.
IMPROVEMENT
This year's D.I.G.M. attendees included: Isreal Blakeslay,

Darrel Cruz, David Dillon, Rebbecca Ellis, William Fisk, Bryan

Employees from Utility services attended the spring session
of the Davey Institute of Utility Sciences (D.I.U.S.) in March.
D.I.U.S. attendees learned about a variety of topics from
experts at the Davey Institute during the week-long program.
Class subjects included: utility equipment and safety over-
view; technology and job planning; tree biomechanics, wood
strength and tree hazards; and social media communication.
Employees attended from the Davey Tree Surgery Company,
Davey Resource Group, Eastern Utility and Wolf Tree, Inc.,
a Davey company. D.I.U.S. attendees included: Jason Arnold,
