6 THE DAVEY BULLETIN | January/February 2019 TRANSITIONS Ray Hannebique Ray Hannebique has been promoted to vice president of operations, Midwest region, Eastern Utility services. Hannebique joined DRG in 2001 as a project manager with considerable experience in the utility vegetation management market. In 2007, he was promoted to regional operations manager. In 2015, he was promoted to regional vice president, contract services, overseeing the eastern half of DRG's utility vegetation management consulting operations. Hannebique is a Marine Corps veteran and holds a bachelor's degree in forestry from Southeastern Illinois College. Hannebique is a past member of the Davey President's Council and is a past recipient of the Davey Outstanding Manager Award. "During his tenure with DRG, Ray built teams committed to excellence and our client's needs," said Brent Repenning, executive vice president, U.S. Utility and DRG. "He brings a wealth of knowledge of the UVM market that will strengthen Eastern Utility and help us build for the future." Blane Pshigoda Blane Pshigoda has been promoted to operations vice president of government/projects for Commercial Landscape Services (CLS). Pshigoda will continue to work for the government/projects division while taking on additional responsibilities within the CLS service line. "Blane has been instrumental in the growth of our government/projects division," said Dan Joy, executive vice president and general manager, Commercial Services. "His tireless work ethic, superior customer service skills and driven attitude has created an unrivaled customer experience for our clients." Pshigoda started at Davey in 1997 as a site manager on the Peterson Air Force Base CLS territory. He also served as project manager and branch manager in Colorado. He was promoted to division manager of government/projects in 2012. Pshigoda was the recipient of the 2013 Davey Outstanding Manager Award. He is a past member of the Davey President's Council. Karen Wise Karen Wise has been promoted to vice president, environmental consulting, DRG. Wise joined DRG in 1997 as a wetland scientist. In 2003, she was promoted to department manager, overseeing DRG ecological services. She was promoted in 2005 to manager of ecological services and eastern urban forestry. In 2012, Wise was promoted to operations manager of DRG Natural Resource Consulting, and in 2016 she received a promotion to division manager, Natural Resource Consulting. "Karen has been a key person in developing and growing our environmental services and played an important role in our acquisitions and the development of regional offices," said Ken Joehlin, vice president and general manager, environmental consulting and business development, DRG. In 2018, she was elected to the Davey President's Council. Wise is a past recipient of the Davey Outstanding Manager Award. She holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Wheeling Jesuit College and a master's degree in natural resources from The Ohio State University.
