Our electric system was severely damaged by a devastating wind storm that blew through our service territory for more than 12 hours. This storm brought winds of up to 70 mph – bringing down 12,000 power lines, over 1,000 distribution poles, and hundreds of transformers. It was the worst storm DTE has experienced in its 100-year history. With the assistance of Davey, we restored power to almost all of our impacted customers at an unprecedented pace. Such a feat requires a team of dedicated, skilled and hard-working people. We couldn't be more grateful. Trevor F.
