EXPLORING THE POTOMAC RIVER
Steve Matravers, assistant district manager, West Chicago Residential/Commercial office,
saw a chance opportunity to explore one of America's most well-known, historic bodies of
water during the International Society of Arboriculture Annual International Conference and
Trade Show in the U.S. Capitol.
Matravers jumped in a kayak and went for a paddle out on the Potomac River. The vantage
point gave Matravers a unique view of the National Harbor resort area. "I found the most
beautiful clear water stream that fed into the Potomac," Matravers said. "And I just happened
to have my Bulletin along with me."
