Andy Lutz has been promoted to assistant district manager of the Lake Bluff office. Jose Maldonado, Jr., has been promoted to project manager, CLS, overseeing the Long Island National Cemetery account. Louis Meyer has been promoted to sales arborist trainee for the Chesapeake office. Scott Morris has been promoted to assistant district manager of the Albany office. Manny Nassar has been promoted to branch manager of Davey's Southeast Florida CLS territory. Nassar started with Davey in 2004 in Orlando. He is an ISA Certified Arborist ® , a certified pest control operator and a 2009 graduate of the Davey Institute of Grounds Management. Kyle Omholt has been promoted to sales arborist for the Naperville Care of Trees office. Mike Peters has been promoted to project manager, CLS, overseeing the Colorado Springs South account. John Platt has been promoted to regional operations manager for DRG's Environmental Consulting market. Platt joined Davey Tree in 2004 in the Baltimore office and held a variety of roles there, including tree climber, sales arborist, PHC coordinator and project arborist. In 2010, Platt transferred to DRG, where he served as a project manager for the Asian Longhorned Beetle eradication effort. He holds a bachelor's degree in forest and natural resource management from The State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Platt is an ISA Certified Arborist ® , an ISA Certified Arborist Municipal Specialist ® , a Tree Care Industry Association Certified Treecare Safety Professional, and a 2006 graduate of the D.I.T.S. Chris Reppert has been promoted to sales arborist for the Richmond office. Dustin Rhoades has been promoted to project coordinator, DRG. Chris Rosier has been promoted to sales arborist for the South Baltimore office. Clayton Ruyle has been appointed to district manager of the Lake Bluff office. Ruyle started with Davey in 1999 as a Plant Health Care Technician in the South Chicago office. He was promoted to foreman in 2002 and sales arborist in 2008. He holds a degree in urban forestry from the University of Illinois. Matt Schaefer has been promoted to district manager of The Care of Trees, a Davey Company, Barrington office. He began his career in Davey's East Dundee office in the Chicago market, and while there he worked as a sales arborist, and then eventually became the assistant district manager. Most recently, Schaeffer was the assistant district manager of The Care of Trees, a Davey Company, Barrington office. He holds a bachelor's degree in urban forestry from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, and is a graduate of D.I.T.S.
