is 2016 Corporate Responsibility (CR) Report, Davey's fifth, is written in accordance with the Global Reporting
Initiative's (GRI) G4 guidelines for a Core level report. We published our last CR Report in May 2016, covering
the 2015 calendar year. is report covers Davey operations during the 2016 calendar year, in the U.S. and

In 2016, we completed a robust materiality assessment in accordance with the GRI G4 framework. is report
transitions us from our previously reported goals to the topics prioritized through the materiality process. Pages
12 and 13 of this report explain the materiality process and results.
