Children and legal wards of an active employee
or surviving children or legal ward of an
employee who became deceased while an
active employee are eligible for the financial
assistance offered by the Davey Foundation.
Applicants for the scholarship must be spring
2017 high school graduates who have been
accepted into an undergraduate program
by a state-accredited, two-year or four-year
institution of higher learning in the U.S. or
Canada. Current scholarship levels are $1,000,
$1,500 and $2,000 per year.
Students currently attending state-accredited,
two-year or four-year institutions of higher
learning in the U.S. or Canada, or who have been
accepted and will attend such institutions, but
who are not graduating high school seniors, are
eligible for grants. Currently, grants of $1,000
per year are available.
The deadline for submitting applications will
be April 7, 2017. Applications not received by the
deadline are subject to rejection.
