Joint-Use Management

Street Light Audits and Inventories
DRG inventories and maps street lights for a variety of purposes, including an upgrade
of a geographic information system, update of information required for billing purposes,
and identification of maintenance and restoration needs. Data routinely collected includes
pole location, light type, fixture type, and wattage. We gather additional client specific data
attributes and often put pole number tags on street light poles.
Data collection techniques make use of the most up-to-date and appropriate technologies,
including pen-based computers, GPS equipment, and field computers.
Custom Programming and Software
DRG strives to be on the cutting edge with tools and technologies used to manage assets. For
example, we have successfully applied and customized our software to dozens of projects.
ROWKeeper™ is a line of software products that we have developed and used for right-
of-way management activities. This software uses pen-based computers for map-based
collection of geographical reference data. A web site is also included to effectively manage
data through the field inventory process.
Current products include ROWKeeper Work Planning, ROWKeeper Work Reporting,
ROWKeeper Pole Inventory, and ROWKeeper Data Collection.
