AMR Services
DRG has the personnel and resources to complete your meter changeout. We use custom
field tools to verify and collect the last reading and ensure the accuracy and completion
of your project. We use existing billing data and reference all meter numbers, associate
the meter number with the reading, and link it back to the billing database for delivery in
electronic format that can be uploaded by the utility.
Underground Inspections
DRG's trained technicians can open padmount transformers, test for stray voltage,
complete basic maintenance functions, and inspect for issues that could affect safety and
reliability. In addition, we also can update your GIS. DRG will check your current data,
update the asset information in the field then revise your asset management system.
Two-Pole Removal and Management
In response to the needs of our utility customers, DRG now provides a turn-key solution for
the issue of two-pole conditions. DRG will find and inventory locations where a two-pole
condition exists, contract with attachers to complete the necessary transfers, remove the pole,
and bill all necessary parties. In addition, DRG will ensure that the utilities' GIS system is
updated to reflect the removal of the two-pole condition and provide photos of the completed
poles for recordkeeping. This service reduces the need for multiple trips to the pole, reducing
costs and eliminating unnecessary trip charges.
Storm Response Services
After major weather events, utilities need to restore systems to pre-storm conditions.
DRG provides damage assessments and personnel to help manage the restoration process.
In the wake of hurricanes, tornadoes, ice storms and other severe weather, utilities'
priorities will undeniably change. We have the expertise and experience to safely and
professionally respond to poststorm needs, including data collection, damage notification,
and field inspections for compliance and safety.
