DAVEY RESOURCE GROUP Phil Shutler My name is Erica Gillespie and I am a northwest Washington, D.C., resident whose front yard trees were recently taken down to give space for power lines. Phil Shutler is the Davey employee who evaluated the situation and contacted me to alert me about what he was recommending and why. We met and thoroughly discussed the situation. He even went so far as to recommend replacement trees and shrubs that would be more "line" friendly since I am in need of privacy given my busy street and my dogs. He actually returned the day after our meeting and left me a few more ideas. I wanted to commend Phil to you as an employee. He is both knowledgeable and sensitive to customer needs. I had an apple tree in my back yard that I have wanted down for two years. The guys took the time to make sure that EVERYTHING was cleaned up, even the apples that fell from my tree. It was obvious that me being a CE employee had nothing to do with this as they were showing extreme care for cleanup at the neighbor's and down the road. VERY impressed with the guys that were there.
