We could (and did!) write
the book on tree care.
And we founded the The Davey
Institute that brings scientific
discovery to every aspect of plant
health care—including quantifying
the benefits of trees.
From removing particulate
matter, which can minimize
asthma incidents, to reducing
heating and cooling needs,
trees make just about
everything better,
including:
• Air Quality
• Greenhouse Gas Mitigation
• Energy Savings
• Storm water Interception
Ask your local arborist how to
ensure the health, beauty and
life of your trees.

Want to know exactly what your trees do
for you? The USDA Forest Service's i-Tree
Design online tool (itreetools.org/design.php)
lets you "plant" your trees and evaluate their
environmental impact. The tool's mapping
feature allows you to identify tree location,
species, size and its condition; along with
how it affects energy usage and more.
