Transitions
Tom Byrne has been promoted to assistant
district manager at the South Chicago office.
Jordan Caspell has been promoted
to production manager for Davey
Resource Group.
Jim Chrobak has been promoted to Kent
warehouse supervisor.
Kevin Dykstra has been promoted to
area operations manager of utility services in
southern
British Columbia.
He began his
career in the
vegetation manage-
ment industry in
1986 as a groundman.
Dykstra continued to
grow in the industry,
which has allowed
him to grow the lower mainland utility account.
Dykstra is a certified utility arborist,
an International Society of Arboriculture
certified arborist and a project management
professional.
Eric Haskins has been promoted to
mailroom coordinator at the corporate office.
Angus Hill has been promoted to
regional manager of Alberta Utility,
mechanical operations.
Hill joined Davey
in 1985 as a ground-
man. He attended the
Industrial Vegetation
Management
Association of
Alberta (IVMAA)
Utility Tree Worker
course in 1988
and received his
certification. He has also served IVMAA
as an instructor, director and chair of the
education committee.
Jesse Imbeault has been promoted to
account manager for the Fortis Alberta account.
Allen Popik has been promoted to junior
buyer at the corporate office.
Charles Shonts has been promoted to
assistant district manager at Naperville office.
Bob Simms has been promoted to regional
shop manager.
Simms began his
Davey career in 1977
as a mechanic at
the Kent shop. He
is responsible for
managing the
Davey fleet shop in
Wheeling, Illinois,
and the shop in East
Dundee, Illinois.
Darcy Soderstrom has been promoted to
area operations manager for utility services in
Vancouver Island
and Northern British
Columbia.
Soderstrom
began his Davey
career in 1993 as a
groundman. He was
eventually promoted
to account supervisor
for Vancouver
Island Utility.
Soderstrom is a certified utility arborist,
an International Society of Arboriculture
certified arborist and a graduate of the Davey
Institute of Tree Sciences; he has also earned
pesticide certification.
Donald Williams has been promoted to
Kent warehouse administrator.
Brad Wise has been promoted to district
manager of the West Chicago office.
Wise began his
Davey career in 1983
at the West Cleveland
office. He has held
several sales and
management and
positions with the
most recent as
assistant district
manager at the
South Chicago office.
