D
avey's social branches are growing.
Last October, Davey's social media
team created a small social media campaign
to reach 5,000 "likes" (followers) on the com-
pany's Facebook page. The campaign featured
three separate posts, including a custom info-
graphic and a message encouraging Facebook
followers to share the infographic image to
generate more likes among their friends.
Within two weeks, Davey's Facebook page
exceeded 5,000 likes. The campaign resulted in
nearly more than 30 total shares, hundreds of
likes, several positive comments and additional
likes on posts to Davey's page.

We love to see the project photos you share
with us! But before you begin taking photos
to submit to The MyDavey Bulletin or Davey
social media, remember the following tips
from Davey's Joe Engberg, manager of safety
program support:
• Ask permission. If you are not part of
the working team, ask permission from
the person in charge to approach the job
site and take pictures.
• Check for proper PPE. If you're
capturing a working scene, make sure
everyone on the job site, including you,
are adhering to safety requirements and
wearing proper PPE.
• Be respectful. If you want to take
pictures of a job site without entering it,
you should still ask permission from the
person in charge.
