Statement of Independent Reporting and Quality Assurance
Davey Resource Group is a division of The Davey Tree Expert Company and provides consulting vegetation
management services to utilities throughout North America. We plan and audit line clearance work that is
completed by a large number of line clearance contractors, including The Davey Tree Expert Company, its
subsidiaries, and competitors.
Several years ago, DRG implemented the following policies to ensure the needs of the
clients would be paramount:
Contracting
DRG contracts directly with the electric utility client so utility-employed personnel
are our customers.
Corporate Structure and Reporting
DRG has a reporting line separate from the utility line clearance operations
with Davey.
Independent Third Party Audit of DRG's Work
To ensure the independence of our work (should there ever be reason to question),
DRG will pay for an independent audit of that work to be completed by a mutually
agreeable third party.
