In 2021, I joined Davey as a pre-inspector for Environmental Consulting services, Davey Resource Group in Northern California. When I started, work felt like a vacation because my job involved hiking in the woods and looking at trees. What is your current title and responsibilities? I am currently a project manager. I get to meet with clients and ensure everything is exceeding expectations, as well as train employees, perform daily administrative work, and work in the fi eld. What's one of your most memorable projects that you've been a part of? All the work my team is doing has been both challenging and rewarding. Every day is a new challenge, and that makes me always look forward to coming to work. Who is someone at Davey who has had a signifi cant impact on your career? David Raine, operations manager, government projects management, Commercial Landscape Services, is a very supportive supervisor who has given me valuable advice and is always willing to do what's needed to accomplish our goals. He has been an invaluable confi dant and leader. What is your favorite music genre? I grew up listening to 1970s country, so that's my comfort genre. But I'll also listen to Ed Sheeran and Miley Cyrus. I like anything you can dance to. What is something you'd want to be famous for? I don't think I could be famous for it, but I like ballroom dancing. I take private lessons, and plan to dance in an upcoming showcase. What is something you like to do outside of Davey? Right now, our family vacations are all about trying to visit every National Park, so I like to do that and go hiking with my children.
