The mother of the teenager was trying to direct traffic in the rain, so the crew got out to help her until the police arrived with a tow truck and were able to move the car. "It's always nice to help out people in the community since they help us out a lot, too," Nigra said. STRANDED DRIVER Travis Willhite, operations manager, Utility Asset Management services, Davey Resource Group, was leaving his hotel in Clearwater, Florida, when he came across two men. One was lying on the ground, unresponsive to the other man's questions. Willhite called 911 once he realized the unresponsive man had no pulse and then began performing CPR. The man started taking shallow breaths right before Emergency Medical Services arrived. "I used to be a first responder, so I've done CPR many times. I happened to be at the right place at the right time," Willhite said. "I'm glad I was able to help the gentleman." "I wasn't looking for anything in return for helping," DeFazio said. "We wanted to save the cat."
