Richard Till retired March 30, 2024,
following 39 years of service. Till
joined the company in 1984 as a
spray technician at the South
Pittsburgh office. In 1990, after
several promotions, Till became an
S&S technician before being promoted
to assistant district manager in 1996.
He then became a sales and service
coordinator in 2024, the role he
stayed in until retirement.
Mark Turnbull retired March 1, 2024,
following 46 years of service. Turnbull
joined the company through the Davey
acquisition of High Tree Services Ltd.
as a supervisor of utility operations in
1986 and was promoted to Southern
Alberta Utility manager in 1988.
He moved to the Vancouver Island,
Sunshine Coast BC Hydro accounts
in 1993. Turnbull was promoted to BC
operations manager in 2012 and to
regional vice president in 2014, where
he stayed until retirement. Turnbull is a
past member of the President's Council.
Marvin Wiggins retired March 29,
2024,
following 17 years of service.
Wiggins was a mechanic at the
Charlotte Shop.

Kevin Dykstra has been promoted
to regional vice president, British
Columbia and Yukon, Utility, Davey Tree
Expert Co. of Canada, Limited. Dykstra
most recently served as regional
manager, BC Hydro account.
Sam Heywood has been promoted
to area manager, Environmental
Consulting services (EC), Davey
Resource Group (DRG). Heywood
most recently served as senior
associate consultant, EC, DRG.
Jesse Imbeault has been promoted
to regional vice president, Alberta and
Saskatchewan, Utility, Davey Canada.
Imbeault most recently served as
Alberta regional utility manager.
PERSONNEL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Keith Bennett, retiree, passed away on
March 17, 2024. Bennett retired in 2021
as a sales arborist, Victoria Residential
office, after 42 years of service.
MEMORIALS
Jacob Young retired April 2, 2024,
following 37 years of service. Young
joined the company in 1986 as a
trimmer, Wilmington office. He became
a spray technician in 1987 and then
was promoted to foreman later that
year. In 1990, Young became a sales
arborist, and then was promoted
to assistant district manager, West
Philadelphia office, in 1993. He was
promoted to district manager, Rochester
office, in 2000 and then became the
assistant district manager in 2024,
the role he stayed in until retirement.
Michael Morkin, retiree, passed away
on March 3, 2024. Morkin retired in
2015 as a foreman on the FirstEnergy
account, Eastern Utility services, after
9 years of service.
William Ray White, retiree, passed
away on Feb. 25, 2024. White retired
in 2007 as a foreman on the City of
Wilson account, Eastern Utility
services, after 18 years of service.
