James Abusamra retired Jan. 15,
2024, following 37 years of service.
Abusamra joined Davey as a sales
arborist, Needham office, in 2010 with
the acquisition of Hartney Greymont,
a Davey company.
Cindy Albanese retired Dec. 30, 2023,
after 35 years of service. Albanese
started her career in 1988 as a
secretary, Columbus office. She was
promoted to office manager in 2005
and became a client experience
coordinator in 2014. In 2018, she trans-
ferred to the West Columbus office.
Robert Benbo retired Jan. 22, 2024,
following 37 years of service. Benbo
joined Davey in 2012 with the acqui-
sition of S&S Tree, as an equipment
operator. He became a foreman in
2014, then transferred to the Twin
Cities Wood Products office in 2016.
Douglas Fairgrieve retired Dec.
31, 2023, after 33 years of service.
Fairgrieve started in 1989 as landscape
coordinator for the South Pittsburgh
office. He was promoted to sales
arborist in 2002. In 2005, Fairgrieve
became an S&S technician and then
returned as a sales arborist in 2014.
Linda Herrmann retired Jan. 3, 2024,
following 22 years of service.
Herrman was a client experience
coordinator for the Davey Nursery.
David Jackson retired Jan. 1, 2024,
following 51 years of service.
Jackson joined the company as part
of the Wolf Tree acquisition in 2008
as an area manager and was
promoted to regional manager in
2012. In 2015, Jackson was promoted
to operations manager, Upper Atlantic
Utility services.
Dennis Jenkins retired Jan. 28, 2024,
after 34 years of service. Jenkins
started in 1989 as a general foreman
on the Duke Power account, Eastern
Utility services, and was promoted to
supervisor in 2005. He was promoted
to senior account manager in 2018.
David Jackson
Ronald Cook, retiree, passed
away Jan. 26, 2024, at the age
of 69. Cook retired in 2023 as a
foreman on the Tampa Electric
account, after 25 years of service.
