25 March/April 2024 | THE DAVEY BULLETIN When did you start at Davey and what was your role? I started in 1997 as a groundperson and was part of Davey's The Care of Trees acquisition in 2008. What is your current title and responsibilities? I'm a foreman and crew leader now. I make sure that everybody is safe and that they all get done what needs to be done. What's one of your most memorable projects that you've been a part of? I've traveled all over the place since I started here. Some of the biggest projects for me have been helping with Hurricane Matthew in South Carolina and the Camp Fire in Paradise, California. Who is someone at Davey who has had a significant impact on your career? There are a lot of people. My manager, Kyle Omholt, and a lot of my crew members have had a significant impact. I really enjoy being here with them. What is your favorite music genre? My favorite music genre is in Spanish, and it's called Banda. What is something you'd want to be famous for? I'd want to be famous for always helping and teaching others. What is something you like to do outside of Davey? I like to spend time with my family.
