This year Davey employees celebrate
45 years of employee ownership!
In 1979, Davey employees purchased
the company from the descendants of
our founder, John Davey. The concept
of employee-owned companies was
fairly new at the time, and today Davey
is one of the oldest employee-owned
companies rooted in Ohio.
The Bulletin will honor this milestone
throughout the year. Make sure you

as an employee owner at Davey.
Covey started with Davey in 1991
as an internal auditor. His journey
to becoming an employee owner at
Davey started shortly thereafter.
