In November and December, steel rose to frame the
super structure of the main building at the Davey SEED
(Science, Employee Education and Development) Campus.
STEEL RISES AT SEED CAMPUS
LEADERSHIP
Steel is starting to frame in the foundation of the climbing
training center. The 10,700-square-foot indoor climbing
gym will allow employees to learn how to use tree-climbing
equipment year-round.
Steel started rising in November for the Davey SEED
Campus main building. More than 1.3 million pounds of
steel will be used in construction of the super structure
of the building and other miscellaneous metal materials.
The SEED Campus main building is approximately 70,000 square feet
– similar in size to the corporate office main building.
The SEED Campus main building is scheduled to be completed in early 2025.
