REPRESENTING DAVEY AT ISA TREE CLIMBING CHAMPIONSHIPS LEADERSHIP The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Tree Climbing Championships highlighted include the competitions 11 Davey employees competed in from September through November. Annamaria Cervantes (pictured above), trimmer, Portland, Ore. office; and Jason Mayorga (below), regional safety specialist, health and safety department, competed in the Pacific Northwest ISA's Tree Climbing Championship in September at Wright Park in Tacoma, Washington. For the women, Cervantes placed third in Aerial Rescue, third in Belayed Speed Climb, second in Throwline, and fourth overall for the women. For the men, Mayorga placed first in Ascent, third overall, and fourth in the Masters' Challenge. WASHINGTON Evan Beck (pictured far right, in the photo on the left), arborist skills trainer, Davey Institute; and Don Price (pictured right), trimmer, North Atlanta office, competed in the Georgia Chapter ISA's Tree Climbing Championship held in November at Legacy Park in Decatur, Georgia. For the men, Beck placed third in Aerial Rescue, third in Open Ascent, and sixth overall; and Price placed 31 st overall. GEORGIA Conor Foley (pictured left), crew leader, Toronto Northeast Residential office; and Scott McDonald (right), foreman, London Residential office, competed in the Ontario Chapter ISA's Tree Climbing Championship held in September at LaSalle Park in Burlington, Ontario.
