Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "It's
not the destination, it's the journey."
That's certainly the case when it
comes to those Davey employees
who we celebrate in this Bulletin issue
for making the 2021 Safety Honor
Road list.
The Safety Honor Road recognizes
Davey employees who have had 1 year
or more with zero OSHA recordable
lost time injuries.
More than 3,700 employees made
the Safety Honor Road in 2021.

In this Bulletin issue, we also celebrate
33 U.S. Residential/Commercial (R/C)
services operations that earned 2021
0.0 Total Recordable Incident Rate
Awards.
For two of those 33 offices, their
teams rely on a mix of personal and
professional elements to ensure
everyone goes home safe at the end
of each day.

built a safety culture on a foundation
of technical and cultural resources.

RESOURCES
Davey employees are lifelong learners,
and the company provides a plethora
of educational resources when it
comes to safe work practices.
The Davey Learning Management
System (LMS) provides a wealth of
educational materials from videos to
manuals and other learning objects.
The LMS is available to all employees.
You can access the LMS in the Quick
Links section of DaveyConnect or
online at davey.brainier.com. Your
employee number is both your
username and password to login.
Once you are on the LMS, just
type "safety" in the search bar, and
you'll be started on a brand new
safety journey!

Safety may be a never-ending journey,
but it does have a beginning, and it
starts with you. Davey's safety culture
starts with employees who are willing
to learn and embrace safe work
practices.
