Davey's Commercial Landscape Services (CLS) have expended in two Midwest markets.
CLS GROWS IN CLEVELAND, PITTSBURGH
CLEVELAND NORTH TERRITORY
In Cleveland, Vito Monteleone's leadership as
branch manager at the Cleveland West territory
led to expansive market growth, and he has
been appointed to branch manager of the new
Cleveland North territory. Operating from a new
office in Avon, Ohio, the territory covers a larger
geographic area anchored by several existing
Davey clients and consists of Davey employees pulled from
both Cleveland West and Cleveland East CLS territories.

In Pittsburgh, Davey has created a new CLS
territory working out of the South Pittsburgh
Residential/Commercial services office. Nick
Lafferty, account manager, was promoted to
the position in April and is now acting branch
manager. He has been tasked with hiring
and training an entirely new staff, as well as
establishing new commercial clients. "Pittsburgh is
an exciting opportunity for CLS and for Nick. With the
clients in this growing area," Monteleone
said. "Our focus is growing Davey's landscape
maintenance and hardscaping clients, and
working with developers on landscape
construction opportunities, a market with
tremendous opportunity for Davey." Monteleone
started with Davey in 2009 as the assistant
branch manager, Cleveland West territory, and was promoted
to branch manager that same year. He attended the Davey
Institute of Grounds Management (D.I.G.M.) in 2010 and
holds an Ohio Commercial Pesticide Applicator License.

began his career with Davey in 2017 as a
