NEW DAVEY PODCAST IS 'TALKING TREES'
Davey launched its first podcast, Talking Trees with Davey Tree, in January.
Each episode features an arborist or technical advisor sharing advice with
homeowners about tree care topics, such as introduced pests, deer and animal
damage, frost cracking, tree cabling and much more. Episodes are released every
Thursday at 5 a.m. EST and can be found on all popular podcast apps including
Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
The podcast also is available online at talkingtreeswithdaveytree.buzzsprout.com.
The podcast is hosted by Doug Oster, an Emmy award winning garden personality
based in Pittsburgh.

IRELAND, WEDDING FUN & TAKING IN THE SIGHTS
Jason Beeler and his wife Libby
traveled across the pond for a family
destination wedding in Ireland.
Beeler, manager, ecosystem
restoration, Wetland Studies and
Solutions, Inc., a Davey company,
said a three-day family celebration led
up to the wedding, which was held in
the small town of Adare, Ireland.
"The parents of the bride and groom
spared no expense making guests feel
at home, even though no one at the
wedding was from Ireland." he said.
"They had two nights of gatherings
prior to the wedding night. The Guinness
was flowing from start to finish."
Beeler and his wife traveled around
southern and southwestern Ireland
during their trip, stopping at the Cliffs
of Moher, pictured, on Halloween.
"They are impressive, with a several
hundred-foot vertical drop into the
Atlantic Ocean," Beeler said. "You
can see how the erosional forces of
time have worked against the cliffs.
There were obvious chunks of the
cliff calved from the face and settling
into the ocean."
In traveling the Irish countryside, they
visited castles including Muckross
House and Rock of Cashel, toured the
Dingle Peninsula and Killarney National
Park, where they saw native sheep
and red stag.
"We reveled in the sights on the
Emerald Isle and I enjoyed a place
I've never been before," Beeler said.
