David Bargar retired June 7, 2020,
following 32 years of service. Bargar
was a sales and service technician,
West Columbus office. He started with
Davey in 1985 in the Columbus office
as a sales and service technician and
worked in the Columbus Maintenance
territory as landscape foreman in
1996 until his return to the Columbus
office as sales and service technician
in 1999. In 2010 he was promoted to
sales and service coordinator, West
Columbus office. He is a 1990
graduate of the Davey Institute of
Horticultural Sciences and a 1993
graduate of Davey Institute of Tree
Services (D.I.T.S.).
Bruce Davenport retired April 24,
2020, following 24 years of service.
He began his Davey career in 1996 as
a project manager on the PG&E Pole
Treatment account. From then until
2008, Davenport served as project
manager with various PG&E accounts.
In 2011 he was promoted to supervi-
sor, pole treatment account, and then
supervisor, Portland General Electric
account. In 2013 he transitioned to
supervisor over the Pacific Gas &
Electric Wood Pole Inspection and
Portland General Electric Wood Pole
Inspection accounts.
Fred Hiatt retired May 10, 2020
following 23 years of service. Hiatt
was trimmer, Commercial Landscape
Services, Peterson Air Force Base
(AFB). Hiatt started with Davey in
1997 as a foreman at Peterson AFB,
transitioned to trimmer in 2000 and
project manager in 2007 before
returning to work as a trimmer in 2010.
Hiatt was a graduate of the Davey
Institute of Grounds Management.
Paul Jones retired May 31, 2020,
following 33 years of service. Jones
was foreman at the Rochester office.
He started his career with Davey in
1986 as a trimmer at the Rochester
office until he was promoted to
foreman in 1992. Jones is a 1995
graduate of D.I.T.S.
Deborah Nassehi retired June 21,
2020, following 26 years of service.
Nassehi was a business systems
analyst, corporate human resources
department. Nassehi started with
Davey in 1994 as an employee
benefits coordinator and served in
the roles of supervisor, assistant
department manager and benefits
administration supervisor.
