INSTRUCTIONAL HELP
Communication and learning technology
is critical today due to COVID-19
physical distancing requirements, and
the Davey Institute can help.
Davey has an array of tools available
to help employees communicate with
colleagues and clients. The Institute
has added instructional resources to
the Davey Learning Management
System (LMS) to help you navigate
these tools successfully.
A COVID-19 page on the LMS links you
directly to general reference materials
relevant to socially distant working
conditions. Courses on such things as
perseverance and resilience are avail-
able alongside technological support
guides for those working remotely.
Need help navigating virtual team
challenges? There's a course for that.
Need instructions for how to use
Microsoft Teams for a meeting?
There's help for that, too.

CERTIFIED EMPLOYEE-OWNED
Although employee-owned since
1979, this year Davey became
Certified Employee-Owned. Certified
Employee-Owned exists to build an
employee-owned economy and is
an organization that provides a
marketing and certification program
for employee-owned companies. Davey
became affiliated with Certified EO
as part of a company strategy to
communicate the benefits of
employee ownership.
Certified EO raises awareness
among consumers, businesses,
and employees so they know when
they're dealing with employee-owned
companies. That knowledge is a
benefit to Davey in recruiting future
employees, when marketing services
to clients, in promoting employee
ownership and more.
