Turner Thompson was born Nov. 6, 2019,
to Helen and Brett Thompson. Helen is a
project manager, corporate communications.
Isla Jo McGinnis, held by big sister Daisy,
was born Nov. 15, 2019, to Meagan and
Zach McGinnis. Zach is a project manager,
corporate marketing.

IS YOUR CHILD PLANNING FOR COLLEGE?
Applications for The Davey Tree Expert Company 2020 Education Benefit
Program are available on the Davey Portal (Legal Department), or you
may request a copy by contacting Heather Micozzi, via email at
heather.micozzi@davey.com.
Children and legal wards of active employees are eligible for the financial
assistance offered by The Davey Tree Expert Company.
Applicants for the education benefit must have been accepted into
an undergraduate program by a state-accredited, two-year or four-year
institution of higher learning in the U.S. or Canada. The education benefit
award is $1,000 a year.
Education benefit awards will be included in your August 21, 2020 payroll
check and is subject to all applicable tax and 401K withholdings.
The deadline for submitting applications will be June 30, 2020.
Applications not received by the deadline are subject to rejection.
CORRECTION
The following Davey employees have 35 years of service to the company:
Kevin Benbo, Twin Cities wood products; Scott Heim, Akron office;
Samuel Davis, Appalachian Electric account; Kelly Kuklisin, Midwest
Operations office. Incorrect service years were printed in the
January/February issue of The Bulletin.
Daniel Hunsicker, retiree,
passed away Jan. 12, 2020, at
the age of 53. Hunsicker worked
for Davey for 33 years. Most
recently, he served as UVM
technician on the AEP Transmission
account in Texas and Oklahoma.
He also served as district manager
of the South Austin office from
2001 to 2017.
