For most workers, health insurance rates rise every year. The National Business Group on Health conducted a survey last year showing large employers expect the total cost of covering health insurance for workers and their families will increase by 5 percent in 2020. Davey employees, like nearly all workplace healthcare program enrollees across the U.S., will see an increase in rates in 2020, but it will be well below that anticipated 5 percent increase. Anna Davis, director, human resources administration, said all non-union Davey employees will see a 3.7 percent aggregate rate increase across health plans from 2019 to 2020 – well below the market average increase. "What employees do and what we ask you to do, from a healthcare perspective, does make a difference," Davis said. "Here's how it pays off.
