CELEBRATING A TREE CAMPUS USA AWARD
Davey was the presenting sponsor
for High Point University's 2018 Arbor
Day Celebration.
This is the ninth year High Point
University has received the Tree
Campus USA Award from the Arbor
Day Foundation. High Point University's
First Lady Mariana Qubein has
spearheaded the efforts on the
university's grounds and arboretum.
Scott Wyatt, district manager,
Greensboro R/C office, said Davey
donated to the event to support the
Steel Magnolia Tree Project
Endowed Fund.
The Greensboro R/C office has been
working with the campus on their
tree work for the past five years.
"We have a great relationship with
them," Wyatt said. "They expect a lot
of themselves, and they expect a lot
from their vendors. If you both have
that vision of ultra-high performance,
it works."
